how do i prepare for my appointment?
Following a few easy steps prior to your spray tan appointment will ensure the most even, longest lasting results possible.
- Exfoliate and shave 24-48 hours prior to your appointment
- Remove all lotions, perfume, deoderant and makeup
- Have loose dark clothing available to wear after the appointment
- Pedicure and Manicure appointments should be done prior to your spray tan
- Use a daily tan extending lotion to lengthen the life of your tan
How do i take care of my spray tan?
How you care for your spray tan will determine how long it lasts!
- Wait at least 8 hours before your first rinse
- Avoid soaps and body wash during your first shower
- Use a tan extending lotion to lengthen the life of your tan by 3-5 days
- Begin moisturizing often after your first rinse. Spray tans LOVE hydrated skin
- Avoid products with alcohol and mineral oils or heavy fragrances
- Long soaks in hot tubs, pools or the ocean will decrease the life of the tan
- Serums, retinols and other products meant to exfoliate your skin will remove your tan
does my spray tan protect me from the sun?
No! Your spray tan will not protect you from the uva or uvb rays so it is important to wear SPF daily. Avoid aerosols and opt instead for lotion sunscreen.
